Christmas Vacation - A Brown Christmas

We were able to spend Christmas in Arizona this year - a whole 10 days! Mom and Dad Nelson were so good to us to let us stay at their house and eat their food and enjoy their company. Hanging out with the family was just what we needed. It was a great break.

The Saturday morning after we got to AZ was the Nelson breakfast. The weather was beautiful and the food was great. Afterward we went on a little family hike. It was a lot of fun.

I got to go over to Aubrie and Jacob's apartment to help watch little Linden while Aubrie cut hair.

While in AZ everyone was showing us these cute pictures they had taken at the Mesa Arts Center. Well, Skyler and I decided to ask his brother Kai if he'd take some of us. Usually the only pictures Skyler and I get taken together are when one of us takes them.







Out of all of the pics Kai took these turned out to be some of my favorites.








These are most of the pictures that were taken. In some of them we are just playing around, but there are a lot of good ones that I'll probably print and stick in a book.

Tap Dancing

Here are a couple videos of my cute brother. He took a tap dancing class at SLCC this semester for an Arts credit. I don't know how I convinced him to do this on video, but I watch them all of the time. He always makes me laugh.

I don't know how to rotate the videos unfortunately - if anyone knows how let me know! - Here he is teaching me the steps:


And here he is dancing to Prince's "Kiss" I don't know how he kept a straight face. I was laughing so hard I had tears running down my face. Maybe it's just because he's my brother??


And finally I took a video up closer because I was trying to capture his serious face.


What a good sport! He actually isn't too bad at it LOL
